AAEON is one of a few IPC vendors capable of developing Credit-card-sized eMenlow platform COM Express® module, NanoCOM-U15. It complies with COM Express® standard and supports pin-out Type I. One PCI-E [x1], eight USB, LPC, and SDIO interface are provided in COM Express® interface connector.

NanoCOM-U15 is equipped not only with built-in DDRII memory up to 1GB and one Gigabit Ethernet, but also is embedded with one 4GB SSD and one SATA interface. SDIO interface provides extra storage interface for application in carrier board design. NanoCOM-U15 supports wide DC input range from +4.75V to +14.7V. It is similar to COM-U15, but characterizes more compact and lower power consumption. Because of the built-in memory and SSD, it is much more suitable for ultra compact size system design with battery energized application and anti-vibration, e.g. handheld devices or solar energizing system.
